Tonight begins Ladies Night on American Idol 12. We got off to a semi-rocky start with the men’s group sections, losing some of our faves and enduring several painful performances with forgotten lyrics and screechy vocals.

Here’s hoping tonight’s “Girl’s gone Wild” Episode will show a bit more preparation.
There were plenty of Drama Queens in last week’s shows, with not an X-Chromosome to be had.
But get a group of high-strung girls together in any competiton and–as any beauty queen contestant can tell you–someone is gonna get hair-sprayed in the face.

If–like me–you’re wondering what happened to some of our early ‘dudette’ faves, (like Christina Isabelle, Kez Ban and Ann Difani) well, I guess we’ll just have to wait till tonight to see what kind of disaster sent them on their way. (I’m betting on lipstick trauma and some kind of crippling bra strap injury.) Alas, we must wait until tonight’s American Idol 12 Ladies Night.
